Paul Smith is best known as a fashion designer, but he has also designed furniture and upholstery textiles. In 2002, he collaborated with Cappellini to create the Mondo collection and in 2003 he launched ‘Bespoke’ an upholstery textile for Maharam. He also designs a collection of rugs for The Rug Company.

Stargate Actor Guest Stars on 24
Actor Michael Shanks takes a break from his anthropologist character on Stargate SG-1 to get a taste of some action on the award-winning series 24 on the episode 1:00 AM–2:00 AM, which will be aired on April 30. His participation on the series 24 will be seen in four episodes, which is part of an arc for season 6.
Shanks will be playing a role different from his Dr. Daniel Jackson role on Stargate Sg-1 as he will be portraying Mark Bishop who is a political lobbyist. Aside from playing a political lobbyist, he will be involved in a secret relationship with Lisa Miller (Kari Matchett), who is the assistant of Vice President Noah Daniels (Powers Boothe). One thing that’s unique about Shank’s participation on 24 is the romantic plot he brings with him, which is something fans hardly ever see on the action-packed series. In fact, this is something that the crew feels awkward about, being giggly and bashful while filming some love scenes.
